Author Topic: Odd Export in the Diffuse and Specular  (Read 1634 times)

So ive been trying to export this texture for a simple grenade but the Diffuse map is kind of freaking out for reasons I cant figure out. The color is a silver grey but it insists on exporting black. Below are a few images, starting in substance painter. Then after the export and the settings used.

Anyone have any clue on why this is happening?






Hey ksouztt,

The diffuse will be rendered black when the material is full metal. This is normal, because metal has no diffuse colour. All the light is reflected. The specular map should have colour, though.
