Author Topic: Alpha not working (designer)  (Read 869 times)

Hi I am new to using this program so I apologize in advance if my solution is obvious.
I am trying to make the black area in the screen shot be transparent and when I look at the base color node it is so I dont understand why it is visible.
A side issue that I also can not figure out is why the leaves are acting metalic when I have them pure black on the metalic map.
Sorry this should be in substance designer support.

you need to add the alpha to the roughness.  Thats why they are looking metallic (which they actually are not its the roughness showing).

Here is what I did now and it still is showing metallic everywhere + alpha not working on leaves

Hey guys,

please do not create two version of a thread in different forum locations. If you accidentally  created a thread in the wrong location a moderator can move it to the right one.
