Does upgrade get me a years maintenance for features for the year?

Hi

My perpetual license ran out of maintenance a while ago and does not have the option to add another maintenance but it does for an upgrade.  My question is does getting an upgrade get me all features for the next year assuming the upgrade has maintenance for a year with it, not just bug fixes bug features? for v2020?

Yes, an upgrade of your maintenance will get you all the new updates, features and fixes for another full year.

Thank you.  And for clarity can I upgrade on 31st Oct or do I need to upgrade before 31st as I don't want to wait till 31st to find the offer removed?
