My computer always shuts down unexpectedly when I use the substance painter.

If I just open Substance and don't do anything. It's fine, but when I operated it. Maybe 10 minutes or 30 minutes. The computer shut down unexpectedly.

It's normal when I use other software such as  3dmax AE Unity ...etc

I made some test
1. I ran the computer's performance be highest(CPU GPU RAM 100%) for a day without substance and the computer is normal.
2.ReInstall the substance and the problem still exist.
3.The spp. file on the other computer doesn't crash.

My computer
CPU i9-9900K
GPU NVIDIA RTX2080
RAM  32G DDR4

And I also export the log in the attachment, please check it. Thank you!

I used to get video_tdr_failure (nvlddmkm.sys) due to a bad driver awhile back, and even a crash due to dxgmms2.sys which was common with a certain driver set. The first thing I would suggest is to make sure your settings are correct as per: https://docs.substance3d.com/spdoc/gpu-drivers-crash-with-long-computations-128745489.html

If they are then you should either upgrade your drivers if you can, or roll them back until the problem no longer happens.

You can also check your dmp file under C:\Windows\Minidump This will let you know the error. Run WinDbg as Admin, and open the .dmp file by pressing Ctrl + D.

Thank you CAGameDEV

I have already set the TDR as the attachment and also updated my  GPU driver. But the problem still exists.
Or maybe I can set TDR with a different number. Maybe 120. I set it 60 currently refer to the official recommend.

What does your dmp file say?

You should try downgrading your drivers then.
