Author Topic: Substance Painter crashing :(  (Read 3203 times)

Hello everyone,
I recently downloaded Substance Pinter and started the beginner course on the site. Everything worked well until I started learning about the brush tool. The most common reason it crashes is when I'm in the brush tool and right-click on the mouse to open paint propertie. But it also crashing in other random cases.

I tried rollback NVIDIA driver to previous version.

I tried that too

Anyone have any idea what it could be?

When you crash and restart the application, do you get a crash report window ?

Don't forget your log file. It can be exported from the Help menu of the software.

I am running into the same issue. I was hoping that finding this thread I would have a solution. I guess not. I can paint fine but as soon as I right click Painter locks up then crashes.

NM. I just reassigned the right click to something that wouldn't go to the context menu. So I wouldn't hit by accident and then cause it to crash while I am working.
