Author Topic: How to create a tileable texture  (Read 998 times)

Hi there,

I'd like to know how to create a tileable texture in SP.
I opened the tiling material sample but I don't get what it is showing.
Also I found this page: https://docs.substance3d.com/spdoc/painting-tilling-materials-162005041.html
Here I don't understand what "The goal is to have each quad overlap each other in the UVs." means.

Some guidance would be appreciated :-)

You do an object of 9 quads as shown in your link and then unwrap each quad to perfectly same UV 0-1 space ( occupying full texture extent   from uv00 to uv11)
