Author Topic: Problem when I used 'Finish Rough' in filter  (Read 561 times)

There has a object that has UV seam like upper image.

I was trying to remove UV seam by using 'tri-planer' projection.

But when I apply height map using triplaner, that still can see UV seam like that

I was tried to remove that using clone tool, but as you see, not worked.

That problem is also happened when I use 'Finish rough' in filter. (tri-planer)

Please, Anyone know how to solve that problem?

The finish filters generate normal maps in UV space which can make the seams on your mesh more visible.
You can try using the "Tri-Planar projection setting to reduce a bit the intensity of the issue but I don't think you will be able to get rid of them completely. You should redo your UVs instead.
Don't forget your log file. It can be exported from the Help menu of the software.

You mean, Tri planer can make object remove Uv seam, But not Completely.
So should I remake that object's uv?

(sorry, poor english)
