Author Topic: Render makes model look flat shaded instead of smooth  (Read 1050 times)


I've importated a smooth shaded model from blender. While working on it in the view port the smooth shading works fine and as intended. Its a low polly model with a high res model baked over the top, both were exported as FBX's using smooth shading.

However when I go into the render view it is showing the faces as flat shaded instead. I've done plenty of models in SP and this is the first time I have had this occur, and I am not too sure what is causing it.       

This is a known issue of iRay and unfortunately something Nvidia has to fix on their side.
