Having to bake the curvature in Xnormal means that you still need to create an exploded variant of the mesh, negating the benefit of the 'match by mesh name' bake system.

Hi,

We have plans to add the high res curvature baker to Painter, but unfortunately I don't have an ETA I can share at this time. The baker is now in Designer. Do you have access to Designer? You can use the baker there and import the map to Painter. Designer has the same match by mesh name feature.

Yes I have access to Substance Designer 5. I just tried the 'Curvature From Mesh' baker and got great results.
