cannot rename function "expose"

On a mac, selected blend/multiply/function/expose and first time it allowed to enter a new name, since I am in the learning phase, I decided to rename it and it will not allow. I deleted the blend mode and brought in a new one reconnected and then selected expose again. It gives it the name of opacity and its not editable. Deleted blend closed out of SB reopened and recreated it same doc and still does not allow altering the name and now it defaults to opacity1.

Is this a bug?

You should have a dropdown box allowing you to create a new name under "opacity".

If not, you can still rename your parameter by clicking in an empty part of the graph and looking at the very bottom of the parameters window.
There you can change the name, and many more details of your exposed parameters.
