Author Topic: Substance Painter to Source Engine  (Read 3748 times)

Hey, so I'm starting to make a counter-strike global offensive map and want to know the workflow of texturing my models in Substance Painter and getting them into Hammer Editor, I need to know what settings/shaders I should be using and what baking settings I should be using.

Thanks

HI,

Substance Painter's texture outputs are designed to be used with PBR shaders. We don't have a specific setup for Source Engine at this time. The best option is to look at what shaders you need to use in Source Engine and then see how you can export these maps from Painter using the Export Configuration map types.
