Author Topic: [solved] Linux install with RPM in different location  (Read 876 times)

I wish to install the linux version on a shared storage  but the RPM file seems to be not relocatable...
Is there any way to do this ?
Should I just install locally and try move the file onto the network ?...

You should be able to copy/move the installation folder somewhere else and be able to run Substance Painter 2. However that's not something we specifically recommend to do and our support will be limited.
Don't forget your log file. It can be exported from the Help menu of the software.

Yep this was the plan and it does work fine for the moment.
Thanks for the tip and the port, this might well a real boost for us !
