You definitely have an issue with your normal map.
You can see it in photoshop with a simple level applied.

Did you check if your normal map channel is set to the default value (rgb16f)?

The problem with the Pixel Processor node is that I have tilling and I do not want this (just a vertical tilling in my case).
I changed all the tilling mode of the nodes but I didn't work.

Is there a way to control the vertical and horizontal tilling mode in the Pixel Processor?

Thanks for the explanations, It works perfectly, I will use it.
If someone has the answer for the Transformations 2D node, I’m still interesting on it 😊

Thank you for your response divi.cig, but I do not understand to process even if it looks like very simple. And I never used the Pixel processor node  :-\
I understand the 2nd and 3th inputs of the Rotate.Vec2 but not the first one (vec2 = Positions X and y I suppose).
I don’t know how to inject a vector2 in a matrix accepting a vector4.

I am not sure if using the Rotate.Vec2 is the good solution in my case.

Here a screenshot of what I would like to do (very simple think in fact).
Do I have to combine a function on the offset parameter of the Transformation 2D node?
I would like to rotate around the pivot 0,0 (upper left).

I want to rotate a input image (using a transform 2D node) around a specific pivot position.
I found the function node Rotate Vec2, is it the good one to do it?
Does someone know about this function node and how is it working?

Thank you very much Palirano, it's perfect.
I won't tell you the time I spent trying to do it   :-[ :-\

I would like to make a very simple tile, the shape is pretty simple.
It's a hexagon with a non uniform bevel.

Can someone could help me doing the height map?
I tried with differents beveled shapes that I mix together, but it does not work.

I have a hardware question about GPU.

I plan to buy a Dell Precision 7530 equipped with an NVIDIA Quadro P3200 6 Go GDDR5.
Do you know if it will work fine with with SP and SD? Does any people has this kind of configuration?
I would prefer buying an Geforce GTX because I heard you can have issues with Quadro GPU with some 3d softwares, but unfortunately all the Dell Precision are set with Quadro.

A piece of work from the Belgium artist Panamarenko that I find pretty cool.

Looks very nice, but I think you should switch your black background with a lighter one.
It is hard to see details and depth.

Ok thanks.
But nothing important... keep in mind the picture of the big iceberg::) ;D

I am really sorry Vincent, but I don't get it  :(

I tried, it's worked, moving the view, loading a new 3d model, moving ...
But, at the end, I lost my initial 3d view position (the one when I saved the 3d model "Create 3d ressource from current scene....").

Do am I missing something?
It's not a big deal of course.
It is just to create a same preview of all my substance, with the same 3d mesh and the same camera angle.

For the png transparency, you just have to choose png as file format when you're saving your file. And for default you get the transparent background. File formats are usually displayed below the box where you type the file name.

Thanks for the answer, but in fact it was the second question  ;D
I wasn't clear maybe... sorry.

So, the question is:
How do you save the camera position in the 3d viewport?
Hey, your second feature has been added to the latest version

2) Save camera position in 3D viewport as a preset file
It would be nice to be able to save the camera's position in the 3D view so we can retrieve the same point of view between different scenes. This would allow making consistent screenshots.
I believe it could be saved as an external file, something like a preset, thus allowing to save as many points of view as needed.

Hey, your second feature has been added to the latest version
For the first one, if you make an Iray render, and save it as png, you should have the transparency.

Can you explain how to do it please?

Very nice and clean rendering. Well done  ;)
