Hi.

Is possible for Substance to remember the configuration texture name by session? At the moment every time, I readjust a texture at the export time I have to manually add the name of the file. The configuration keeps the file texture name from the previous version. Is possible to avoid this?

Hi.

Somehow my camera is locked and I can not move it on the viewport, only on IR view. Is an old project but just wondering if there is a way to fix this issue.

Hi there.

I was wondering if I need to keep my meshes triangulated after finishing my texture work on Painter. I usually keep the triangulated meshes on my scenes for proper render, but it's necessary? I only triangulate not deformable meshes. For texturing deformable objects I send to Substance in quads.

Any recommendations? Best practices.

Substance PainterSubstance Painter - Baking - UDIM Bake mesh maps problem

Hi there.

It's possible to bake using Udims?. I have a mesh on 1002 setlist and I want to bake the normal map but is not creating it. I know I can always create different materials for each texture set and leave my Uvs on the 1001 tile but I am curious why is not working. Also even if I select baking the selected texture set, substance bakes all the other objects on top, but not the Hi mesh :-\

I preferably want to use on Maya only once shader for the object, that's why I am using Udims workflow.

On Painter 2018.3.3

Hi there.

How I can export my texture with the opacity information, or alpha?. Im trying to add the RGB+A but Im getting a gray color where the transparency should be. Exporting using PNG and TIFF.

It would be great to hi objects by UV's when you don't want to use many selections sets for a mesh made by several pieces.

Hi Magic People.

I being building a material on my Mac. But, the 3D view only updates fully when I re open designer. Any idea why this is happening ? Mac problem or Designer ?

I tried to import my model from a server path or network path but I got an import error on my log.

Network path import is not supported. Just asking?
