Testing some lighting setups. Still got some texture work to do but I want to get an idea of how the final mesh is looking in various lighting conditions.

Thank you Kay! I really appreciate it! This piece was definitely a learning experience, I didn't know nearly what I thought I did about normal mapping and how to lay out smoothing groups for baking objects like this.

Hello Kay! Thank you for your feedback, I can see what you are getting at with the tank feeling loose. I tried to compensate for that by having the surrounding pieces fit together so that it didn't look like the tank could just fall off. Perhaps it doesn't read all that well however!

Currently, I am fixing any issues where the normal is acting up and continuing forward with the texture. Any feedback is greatly appreciated! Will update as the project progresses!

Thank you! I am using this piece for my portfolio, ultimately I would like to put this guy in Unreal Engine 4. I really appreciate your critique and feeback, I understand what you are saying about the glare in the white paint. I am going to play around with the lighting in between projects and see if I can't get a better result and eliminate some of that glare!

Thank you very much for your comments. Good call on the poly budget! I was doing some optimization, especially for the polygons that aren't visible and the boots slipped my eye!

Hello folks! I have been working on a project for these past few months and finally have wrapped it up. I really wanted to get on this PBR hype-train and learn Substance Painter. He is around 22k tri's with one 2048. Hope you enjoy!
