Substance Integrations - UE4 - Wet Concrete?

But where is the Substance Material for download with the wet water on top of an asphalt or concrete?
I can't find it.

Or something similar.

do you know why the glass substance materials from substance source appear all black when assigning to any mesh inside of UE4?

When assigning your Glass Materials to objects --> the objects appear all black.

How to fix that issue?  :o

Is in the new release the Displacement Problem solved?
When using Substance Materials in Unreal, the Displacement never worked.

That's huge. Any updates on this?

All the materials that you can directly download from Substance Source do have major issues.

The mandatory nodes are not built - therefor the Material does not look like in the preview.
Example Material: Inclined Lumber Tiles

When you download that material, you can clearly see that the Displacement is missing.

If I have to rebuild every material again, or if I have to add Displacement and tiling nodes then I don't need Substance.
The whole idea is to be able to download Materials, and they should work.

I have no time to mess around with Materials.
If I would, I wouldn't need Substance Source.

So please fix all the materials.. that's pretty hard core to see as a paying customer!

I am working with Unreal.

Problems:
a) Substance is constantly logging me out from my account. Can you please fix that!

b) how can I download my entire purchased library when working with Unreal?
It's annoying to select every single material and then download every single material over and over again.
How can I automatically download ALL my purchased library with one click of a button?

c) Please ad Minimum requirements for Materials and Shaders like...
SCALING.. TILING... please add those mandatory options

Source Material: Cataphote Rear Reflector Wave

After downloading for UE4 - it's clearly to see that the wavy pattern is missing.
Kinda the displacement or normal map seems to be missing.

The Material does not look like in the preview.

Substance Integrations - UE4 - Tiling & Scale

When you built the Material Library, you should have considered the Tiling/Scaling Options. :(
That's a real bummer, that this is not automatically in every instance as an option available.

Would it be possible to add that so essential feature automatically to each material?
When ever I am going to download a material, I need to change the tiling & scaling.

Please add that option to all materials inside your library.

I just looked deeper into that issue.
It looks like that the nodes are not built correctly.

The Displacement is missing.

Do you have an estimate when this is going to be fixed?
Would be highly appreciated if the Materials in your Library are at the end built correctly!

In UE4, or 3dsmax, etc.

thank you for your reply. Well, I am aware of the lighting difference.
But this is not about the lighting or what Raytracer you use - it's about the plugin that creates the nodes and assembles the shader network.

I am assuming this is the mismatch.

One more thing:
I am running into a similar issue when using the materials from your library directly in Unreal.
But in Unreal, it creates the difuse pattern and everything else. But unfortunately, it does NOT create any height.

There is no displacement so to speak. And therefore, the materials and their nodes are mot matching with the presets from your library.

I am not sure if it's possible to just use a Substance Material on it's own in Max, or Unreal.
So far I just followed your Video Tutorials, that shows the process for max and Vray --> using your plugin.

And unfortunately, for Unreal.. I haven't seen one yet that shows the process from loading a material from the library and assigning it to the selected geometry.

I installed all plugins.. but every plugin seems to have bugs.

After downloading and assigning Substance Materials to my objects, I have no height assigned.
No displacement, etc.

Do you have to activate anything additional to make this work?
I am just downloading Substance Materials from the Library and assign it directly to a geometry.

But no displacement or height map is working.
Therefore, all materials look different and don't match the renders from your library.

interesting.. I am running into a different problem.
My Substance Materials don't generate any height information.
Like Displacement, or Bump and Normal.

Do you know how it's possible to change the height information?
Like Bump, Normal or displacement?

I don't even know if Displacement is supported... uuahhh
