okay, so I am creating video games for Roblox.
And if I am going to use just the substance source materials, I should be fine, right?

In terms of modifications.
Well.. if I change the color.. it's my own unique modification.
Or if I change a pattern or any other attributes - it's my own creation.
No matter if I am going to use Painter, the Player or Designer.

Sooo.. that being said. If I am changing any attributes from substance source materials, I should be 10000% fine. Correct? That's how I understood your answer.

I am trying to load some .sbsar files and I am getting this error:
Link process failed: Invalid assembly or version.

What does this mean and how to fix it?

Hey there, I am confused when it comes to the usage of all the different Substance products.
For example, if I am using Substance Source, am I allowed to use all the texture maps for my Roblox Video Game?

Installation via Epic Launcher for 4.26 doesn't work

I get constantly the message, that all available plugin versions have been installed.
Is 4.26 not supported yet?

No matter what I tried. For some reason the Edge Wear and the Smart Materials won't work. :P
To demonstrate that issue, I create this 2-minute video.

Can somebody explain to me, why all the Normal Maps are missing for the Car Materials?

For example:
Cataphote Rear Wave Dents

Why are materials in Substance Source promoted if a lot of them have missing maps?
Even when downloading the .sbsar file and loading them into the Player, etc.
The presets don't create the normals maps.
And the normal maps are missing.

Can somebody please explain me why?
Or what the heck am I missing here?  :P

Substance Integrations - UE4 - How to import?

How to import a Substance Material into UE4, that only has the final texture maps connected to the different material slots?

My goal:
I need to have basic PBR-Shaders (each node has just a final texture map assigned) so I can use it for Oculus Quest.

What's the best and fastest way to approach that?

I am trying to deploy a VR scene to the Oculus Quest.
For some reason, just the Substance Materials are just all turning out "black".

Is Substance not supported for VR and the Oculus Quest?
What am I missing here?

last day before the holidays.. any chance to get it?
I was also wondering... why do we need the actual plugin?

I rather usually use the website to download the materials and import them directly into UE4.
It would be very intuitive to maybe release your source-code to Epic and collaborate.

When ever Epic is working on a new release, your plugin code would be automatically integrated.
Therefore, users could always just import the materials.

What you guys think about this?
