I've said it elsewhere, I'll repeat it here..

What I don’t get is how you can abandon your brand.. Building a brand like Allegorithmic did was a HUGE achievement.. Sure it’s very likely the tools will improve, but the brand equity’s gone, that’s a big big loss.

I come from advertising. Building a brand isn’t only about name recognition, it’s how your customers feel about you, what they identify you with. In the comments I see a lot of “I thought you guys were different”. People worry about pricing and Linux, but it’s not why they’re reacting that strongly IMO, they feel let down. It proves you were able to create an incredible emotional bond with your customers, it's something that other companies spend millions trying to achieve, and now it's out the window... And it's not about liking the usage, or the amount of features.. I love using After Effects, I despise Adobe. Why does it matter? The day there's a decent alternative, I'm gone (that program is the only reason i still use CC BTW).

Substance is a fantastic product. Most of us will keep using it I suspect, and I do believe it will improve, but even with the same name, you’re now Adobe, and that sucks.

What are the right export settings for a use with EEVEE? I'm using the PBR MetalRough workflow, but in EEVEE it's nowhere right, aside of the color.. The roughness especially looks like it's clipped.. Or is is it a Blender setting somewhere?

I was able to get some feedback from someone at Allegorithmic, and the issue comes from my GPU driver... I recently upgraded to a GTX 1080 from Macvidcards, which runs with Nvidia-provided drivers and uses metal. From what I was told Allegorithmic only supports official Apple drivers, so here we are...
I previously had a GTX970, also from flashed by Macvidcards, and it worked fine.. but the 1080 uses Pascal (which also causes some issues in After Effects)...

Maybe someone can help me with this.. I keep getting this weird result when I bake my textures - only one mesh.. It’s like they’re split in four, and don’t even cover the whole original UV layout.. It’s not only this one, so there must be some setting I screwed up somewhere.. I'm not a frequent user but I've gone over this process several times in the past, don't see what i would be doing differently...
Here's the file if someone wants to look at ti..

Oh, this is SP 2.6.2 and the model comes from Modo 11

Hello

Regularly I'm getting this type of errors while painting (with height activated, but I'm not 100% sure).. It starts wiith a few black areas, then this.. If I export the textures as is, those errors will show.. But if I close Painter and reload the scene, I see it recalculate, and the problem disappears...

I'm on OSX 10.10.5, with GTX970.. Painter latest version..
