Hi, I think it would be very nice if I can fill mask of the mesh which is bordered or defined by mask itself. As you can see on the printscreen - I want to create a filled circle, so I mask borders and then with one click fill inside.

Hello,

is in Substance Designer possible extract or isolate Luminosity from a bitmap? I want to create a filter to the Substance Painter for realtime checking luminosity of albedo...something like PBR metal roughness validate.   

Is possible to extract Luminosity value from every pixel of a bitmap (Albedo/BaseColor) and then compare this values with table data Median luminosity of actual material? Thanks!

Hello,

I want to improve my PC because of lagging viewport in SP and also texture loading and baking takes too long. I wonder if I buy RTX 2060 which cost approx €350,-...or should I buy second hand gtx1070 or gtx1080 approx for the same price? Btw I need NVidia mark because of CUDA.

This most likely means you have some security settings issues which block the application from writing properly on that disk.
As a quick workaround, can you try to run the application as administrator to see how it goes ?

Hello.

I have an problem. My exported textures from Substance Designer into Disc (C:) have suffix .tmp. Everytime I need to delete this suffix and then are textures OK. Also I can't from Substance Painter export textures into Disc (C:) but into Disc (D:) I can. I attachment a log file from Substance Designer.

Please help me. I realy don't want to reinstall an operating system.

Hello guys. I working on Generator which generates the custom pattern via Normal map as Vector and Mask map. In the screenshot is demonstration. My problem is I can't export all input images (INPUTS and BAKED MAPS). In Substance Painter I see all Pattern Inputs but all "Baked Maps" (AO, Curvature, Position, Normal and World Space Normal) are missing.

You know I want to import all these maps in Substance Painter to my generator like my Pattern Inputs. Any ideas please?

Hi, I created a few .sbsar materials where I have a switch button for Pattern. My materials work properly in Substance Painter, Substance Designer or Substance Player, but in Unity they don't do anything. I set also pattern by grayscale textures and it works well also in Unity. It doesn't work only when "RandomPattern" is use. Any ideas? I try it in various versions of Unity with the same result.

So I am sad because of crypto miners...well...yes I think about Evga Nvidia GTX 1080 TI. It has 11 GB of memory. But now I see AMD Radeon Pro Duo 32GB for same price. Isn't this AMD Radeon much better for our purpose?

Thank you guys. I set "Tdr stuff" in registry and in office I set all textures to 512x512 and now I can easily open my project on my PC without issues.

But anyway...which computer parts I need preferentially change? It's GPU? Can you tell me which part is the weakest for Substance Painter/Designer and modeling?

Could you explain what you mean by "won't load" ? What happens exactly ?

1. Open Substance Painter
2. File -> Open
3. Find my project and click on Open
4. After few second I see in upper bar "Not Responding" : https://imgur.com/oyemHcP

My PC just can't open my 4GB project. When I want to open other projects - no problem. Also when I try to open my project in my office where is better PC - no problem. I think it's just because project is too big.

Here is log file. I'am pretty sure it's because of my lowbudget components. Just don't know which one. :(
