Substance DesignerSubstance Designer - Technical Support - Fonts are too small
 on: December 29, 2018, 08:58:12 pm
I can barely read font sizes on substance designer*. I've searched through the forum and there are requests for a fix dating as far back as 2014. In the last 5~ years, has this been implemented yet?

Note: posted in substance painter forum by accident, please move.

Just finished my first substance and want to increase the resolution before exporting. When I change it, the design changes as well. I just want to increase the resolution of the exact design as shown, example below:

This is how it should look (512)

This is what it looks like when I increase resolution to 4k.

Worth noting that no matter what resolution I change it to, the design changes very drastically. From 256 to 512 is drastic and from 512 to 1024 is equally so. What's going on? I thought you were supposed to be able to change texture res at any time?

Substance PainterSubstance Painter - Baking - Having trouble baking
 on: December 24, 2018, 12:17:14 am
My normal map just bakes as solid purple. I've messed with ray distances and all that and still no luck. Any ideas? Or, any hacks to convert the world-space map into object-space?

I more or less want something that looks similar to the base color map, but as a normal map. Attached an example.

The default zoom speed on mac os with magic mouse is so aggressive it practically makes it unusable. It wouldn't be so bad if I could just zoom to where I want it and leave it, but the magic mouse is touch sensitive and the slightest scroll (even accidental) scrolls the graph like 10 levels. I am aware of the alt-right btn zoom aswell, but that's a settle. The alternative would be gesture support, where I can pan with middle mouse movement and zoom with two finger scroll, like most programs these days.

Any ideas whether these are available features? I'm a PC user at home and just started using substance at work, where I use Mac. Going between them is drastic because of these problems.
