I get "Could not create importer" for some FBX files. Can export same geo as obj and works fine. Any ideas?

SubPainter 2017.3 is a crashy mess on Mac OSX 10.13 (High Sierra). I'm on an Mac Pro trash can with dual 700s (not Intel).

SubstanceSubstance - Purchases & Licenses - Days remaining

For subscribers, could you disable the "XX days remaining" in the top window bar? I really don't want to momentarily have to worry about my subscription every time I use Painter.

I have the Indie perpetual licenses package, i.e., Painter, Designer, etc. I'm considering switching to the Substance subscription but confused by two statements in the Substance FAQ:

1. Re later acquiring a perpectual license, it says:
"When you are subscribed for more than 12 months consecutively, when you cancel you get the option to purchase a perpetual license of all the software for $49. This license does not provide any maintenance to the software. You can purchase maintenance for each software on the website."
So its $49 plus $75 for the maintenance per software if you want upgrades after you unsubscribe?

2. Re "Can I cancel when I want?
Yes, you can cancel your subscription whenever you want.
Please note you will lose the possibility to get a perpetual license of the software when you cancel your subscription."
This conflicts with the after 12 months statement above.
Should this read: "...lose the possibility... cancel your subscription before 12 months?

Hi,
Painter doesn't maintain a couple settings for me between projects and/or exports. There are 2 that I would love to set and forget:
1. When starting a new project, can I default to OpenGL instead of DirectX? I'm on a Mac. Small thing;
2. Bigger issue is Painter forgets the export project settings (which maps preset) between sessions. Can it be set to preserve this?

By far the most asked about B2M question is about exporting a substance. I have standalone B2M 3.1.1 on a Mac, loaded a bipmap, B2M created a great looking tiled material and now I'd like to export as a substance. How do I do that? Why the smoke and mirrors on this Allegorithmic? Just detail a workflow or call the program Bitmap2Maps.

I have Designer. I can go that route but I know B2M is creating an .sbsar file. Somewhere. Why isn't there an export .sbsar menu option?

Just dowloaded and installed SP 1.5. Hard crash just after it opens and before I do anything.

Does the environment map have to be square? I'm loading in a 2048 by 512 and getting the "must be power of 2" error message?

Substance Integrations - MODO - Color ID maps from Modo

I have a model in Modo with several material (polygon) sets I want to use as masks in SP. I'm stuck getting the texture map out of Modo for use as a Color ID map in SP though.  I'm assuming there's a way to paint the UVs with Material Sets in Modo but can't figure out how to do that and export the map. I've created an RCGA map which shows up in Lists. Can they be exported?
I can do it with Bake to Render but then the colors aren't uniform.
Seems like there should be a straightforward way to do this. Pointers much appreciated,
