I have got many of my materials/smart materials unuasable due to: "Data too recent for this software version". on Subsatnce Painter 2 -last build - the only version I can use now...2018 is not working for me... still ghenerating the thumbnails... but mostly these are OLD MATERIALS AND OLD SMART MATERIALS which worked on SP2 very well and not can not be loaded? Even materials and items which I have purchased in those ThemePacks (Fantasy Knight, Sci-Fi Alien, Military) now NOT WORKING  on SP2... but why? you waynt us stop using once purchased SP2 and moved to that stupid subscription system? I want my old materials to work again on the program for which they ve been created!

Hallo... if some will be willing and able to make some sort of stripe generator substance for painter with option for setting stripe count, wide, color direction and so on... it would be fantastic.

Hallo... the last version again causes problems with re-generating the tumbnails... the program very often locks during generatin of thumbnails... which are genrating during each launch again and again...

seems like some safe tool for turning and adjusting the model is needed... since each tool is active, you may do unwanted strokes or error during turning the model... so some safe "hand" tool for grabbing and turning without painting /selecting would be great.

Hallo... what is wrong with mirrored meshes...? If I want to paint part of mesh which is mirrored from original, it is dull, dark and it seems that shader its not working correctly on it. (Magazine is mirrored here and is visible how much darker is after baking maps.)

Hallo I welcome some advice how to make and sharp edge masking across polygons like in polygonal lasso in photoshop for use of some camouflage pattern. Thank you.

seem I have problem to bake ids from high-res mesh in current version... earlier I have set colors in hexagon to obj mesh and set material color and color selection worked fine. Now I am getting only black surface... no colors at all... I have tried regroup mesh according materials, I have tried to set materials in c4d and excport it as fbx... tried all options in id baker no matter what, still geting unicolor flat black without any id features... what is wrong? 

why is not possible to bake  id map for material color also from objs as it was at earlier versions?

Some feature for hiding parts of mesh is really necessary... it can be done perhaps in similar way like is done the masking... hide object/uv mapped shell, group of polygons... what you think?

Hallo it would be nice if there could be some preview/thumb incorporated into sbsar so it will be visible how it looks in windows file explorer, something like pictures have... is it possible to have it?

is it OK, that Iray renderer rendres even objects/textures sets that are switched off? I think much more logical will be if items that are switched off will not be rendered...

Hallo... some substances from share (mostly rocks) shows like it has very high displacement .. but when applied in painter, this material is completely flat... so what am i doing wrong? I would like to have similar looking material... but there is no displacement channel for adding anywhere... any advice?

I used to paint surface reliefs by height brush then export it texture to normal, apply normal and bake maps from it... but in SP2 that exported normal map seems be much weaker in relief then it was in sp1... is it true?

I am always getting this message when starting painter: "[Shortcut settings] Conflicts have been detected in your shortcut settings.Please consult your settings to solve the issue." But I have never did anything with shortcut settings.
