Did anyone ever find a fix for slow wacom pen when mouse is not?
Brush size and flow adjustment with the wacom pen is super laggy but mouse is fine for me.

Latest version of substance painter.

Hey, 2019.2 just had a huge update for baking. Mostly speed. But it's still a huge waste of time opening up Substance Designer just to bake simple opacity maps, which painter still lacks the ability to bake.

Please everyone vote on this feature request.

I have a perpetual licence. I paid to extend maintenance and to get the latest version, Which was 2018.2. My licence is now for 2017.3 so I cant even open projects I had because it's an older version.

I have contacted the email, it's been 5 days waiting for response now.

I paid the stupid upgrade maintenance fee and it set the maintenance expiry date backwards by a year, instead of forwards.

I can download the latest version but my licence "expired" two years ago  >:(

You think it would be possible to have a dithering mask layer that would prevent dithering on masked areas of the mesh? If so I will request that.

6
Using 16 bit does have no dithering, I was wrong. But i still have some cases where 8bit no dithering is preferable, or other cases where only exporting the normal map at 16bit would help. so it would be useful to be able to turn dithering off and also bit depth per map.

P.S. I don't have original files to for some normal maps that are 8bit, so they can't be fixed in Photoshop and the dithering probably looks worse than the banding would.

7
when you use levels to look at the difference in values this is the noise that substance painter adds to normal maps.
If this is the "dithering" it should be optional, because you can't really fix the normal maps once this is exported.

8
sorry image upload isn't working too well.

Is this what the dithering does?

Even in 16bit the normal maps have this noise on them, so I can never have clean smooth looking textures, they all look like noisy surface.

Thanks, I do remember trying the dilation width but with anti-aliasing on, the anti aliasing seems to be the cause of the seams.

This is again for a 512x512 texture.

But the AO Bake is set to 8192x8192 & Antialiasing: Subsampling is None.
It is still partially visible but not nearly as bad.
