Hi,

Just to let you know the problems are now fixed.
You should change your password on the main website, but you can change all the other options (display name, etc.) on the forum.

Cheers,
Nico

Hi,

Can confirm this works now.

Thank you,

AB.

Hi,

Can you try to delete the relief, mesh_info and parallax shaders?
You can find them in Library/Application Support/Steam/Common/../Bitmap2Material/3DView/Shaders

Cheers,
Nicolas

Hi Nicolas,

I tried deleting those files but it still crashed on launch.

With regards your suggestion on the steam forum I have sent you a couple of PM's on this forum with the crash reports attached.

edit:
Just tried PM'ing the crash reports but they are too large, can you PM me an email address where I can send them?

Thanks,

AB.

I only created an account because I bought Bitmap2Material on steam and each time I load it on OSX it immediately crashes. I created a forum post on your steam forum (29th November) and also here on your main forum site (3rd December) and had not one response from anyone at Allegorithmic which isn't very good.

If you are interested in helping resolve the crash the posts are here, if not I might try The Foundry forum as I know one of your staff frequents there:

Hi,

I just answered you on Steam.
You should try to delete some of the shaders (I gave the link on your Steam forum).
Let me know if that helps.

Cheers,
Nicolas

Hi Nicolas,

Thanks for getting back to me.

I did report a bug using the link on the right of the forum but didn't contact you directly as you suggested.

I tried removing the shaders but still have the same problem, I also replied on the steam forum if you want to move this conversation there so as not to take this thread off topic that is fine.

Thanks,

AB.

Hi,

Did you try to change your password on the Allegorithmic website (http:///www.allegorithmic.com, then My Account), and not on the forum?
If changing it on the website doesn't work please ping me by PM and I'll change it by myself.

Nicolas

Nicolas,

Maybe it is just me but what if I want to just disable the "Allow users to email me" option in my forum profile?

I deselect the option, enter my current password and still receive the warning about the password being incorrect, I have also reset the password from the main site at least a couple of times and still no joy.

Hi,

I have the same problem with the following error when I enter my current password and click the "Change Profile" button.

The following errors occurred when trying to save your profile:
The password you entered was not correct.

I am on OSX Mountain Lion and have tried Firefox (25.0.1), Chrome (31.0.1650.57) and Safari (6.1 (8537.71)), they all give the same error.

Thanks,

AB.

Hi,

I purchased B2M on steam a few days ago and when I try running it from steam it instantly crashes.

I am using a 27" iMac with Mountain Lion 10.8.5 with 12GB ram, any help on how to get it running would be appreciated.

I also have Substance Designer 4 (also from steam) and this works fine.

Thanks,

AB.
