Is this tool still available?
When I follow that link all I get is the archived website...

I've downloaded a bunch of presets from Substance Source. Now I want to organize them further.
For example, there are a few materials in the "Stone" category which I want to show up in the "Marble" category.
Is it possible to edit the tags?

SubstanceSubstance - Discussions - OT: Can I change my forum name?
 on: March 15, 2018, 09:31:55 am
I guess I missed some step when I signed up for this forum, so now I seem to be stuck with the user name office_28.
Is there any way to change that? I can't find an option for it in my user profile.

I ran into the same issue. Files are reported as corrupted, no way to open them.
Very annoying :(

Ok, makes sense.
Thank you!

I've exported my maps to Photoshop, with all the layers.
When I check the settings, Photoshop tells me that the file uses sRGB IEC61966-2.1.
But when I drag and drop another file that uses sRGB IEC61966-2.1 into the file created by Substance Painter, I get a warning the the SP file uses Custom RGB.
What settings exactly do the files created by Painter use, and how can I get it to use the correct profile right from beginning, without having to convert anything?

When I launched Substance Painter right now I got this message:

I have a subscription, and I'm supposed to get all new versions while the subscription is active.
So I went to my Allegorithmic account and found an "Upgrade Licenses" button. When I click that I get an empty site, with only the header saying "Upgrade" and links to various social media sites. No possibility to upgrade anything, as you can see in the screenshot:

So what am I supposed to do???

I'm fairly new to Substance Painter and still figuring out what it can and can't do.

I have a floor plane with a round hole. I want a regular pavement texture, which is easy, but I also want one row of tiles arranged in a circular pattern around the hole, similar to this photo (but without the star pattern):

What's the best way to do this?

Oh ok, that already helps a lot.
Thank you! :)

So, first let me admit that I'm fairly new to Substance so please forgive me for asking stupid questions  ;)

I've downloaded quite a lot of materials from Substance Source and now my Shelf is one big mess. Everything is mixed up, ground textures, wall textures, rock textures...
And the thumbnails are so tiny they are no real help. I usually go to the Substance Source Website to look up the name of the material I want so I can find it in my shelf.

There must be a better way, please tell me?

Thank you, that helped a LOT!  :)

Hello, I'm new to Substance and I need some help, please.

I created some bitmap textures in a procedural texture generator. There are separate maps for color/albedo, height, gloss etc., and they all are already set up for seamless tiling.
Now I would like to combine them in a material which I can use in Substance Painter, so I can apply the color texture and the matching height data across the UV seams.
How can I do that?

I tried Bitmap2Material but it seems that it doesn't export materials which can be used by Substance Painter. That really came as a surprise.
Any suggestions?
