Hello,

Does your configuration and your GPU meet the minimum requirements?
https://docs.substance3d.com/sadoc/technical-requirements-185106444.html

Thanks

Hello, it works on my side.

Are you sure the preset is not added to the list? It is not automatically selected after you import it.

Can you send me your log file?
https://docs.substance3d.com/sadoc/exporting-the-log-file-188974570.html

Thanks

Can you try with the "Surface relief" filter? It replaces the height modulation one.

Hello!

This can happen if you're using a greyscale image.

If you convert it to an RGB image, it should work fine.

Thanks

Hello,

You can use the Tiling filter for that.

Thanks

Hello,

Unfortunately, the Image to Material (AI Powered) layer generates seams. I would advise you to set the geometry equalizer parameter to keep a good heightmap and use afterward, a Tiling or Make It Tile Advanced layer.

Thanks

Hello,

Can you send me a screenshot of your layers, please?

Thanks

Hello,

Can you delete the content of the following folder: C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\Allegorithmic\Substance Alchemist\Crashpad

The crash report should not appear anymore.

Thanks

Hello,

Can you try to update your Nvidia drivers?

They're quite old. You can find here the technical requirements to run Alchemist: https://docs.substance3d.com/sadoc/technical-requirements-185106444.html

Thanks

Hi, here is a quick example to achieve your goal.

1- I create a very basic material for the wallpaper

2- I create a second material for the concrete with the peel effect

3- On the second material, I blend the wallpaper material using the Color ID blend mode.
On the Paint Layer, I copy the color value of the Paint Color parameter of the Paint layer and I paste the value in the Color to sample parameter of the Color ID blend layer.

Hope it helps you!

Hi,

Which version of Alchemist are you using? Can you send me a log file and the name of the Substance Source material?

Thanks

Hello,

With the recent update to support the new RTX 30 series, it looks like your Nvidia drivers are a bit out of date. Can you try to update them and restart Alchemist please?

Thanks

Hello,

You can use the Custom Mask Blend mode and paint out the bricks you want to replace as you can see below.

The workflow is:
1- Create your brickwall
2- Add the second material on top of it
3- Select the Custom Mask Blend mode on top of the stack and click on the brush widget next to the mask input
4- Start painting

Thanks

If you agree to restart Alchemist from scratch (it will delete all materials you created so far that you saved in the Collection section below the viewport), can you:
1- delete the content of this folder:
C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\Allegorithmic\Substance Alchemist
2- Uninstall and install Alchemist again

Sorry for the inconvenience
