Hi Bonsak,

Just a quick fix, the path to the license file in SD4.6.2 is /Library/Application Support/Allegorithmic/Substance/License.key.

Can you double check ?

When you click on the evaluate button in SD, are you prompted with an authorization dialog ?

Do you have administrator clearance on your mac ?

Thx

Alex

Hi everyone,

I found a workaround with the help of Bez. Just copy/paste your license file you downloaded from our website in C:\ProgramData\Allegorithmic\Substance Painter\license.key.

I don't know yet why it fixes the issue. I'll keep you posted.

Cheers,

Alex

Hi,

This happens when your computer try to start Substance Painter on the wrong GPU.

First ensure that the drivers of your NVidia GPU are up to date (they can be downloaded here: http://www.nvidia.com/download/driverResults.aspx/77228/en-us).

Then go to the NVidia control panel in the "manage 3D settings" section and force the usage of the high performance GPU for Substance Painter (as explain in this post: http://superuser.com/questions/484962/how-to-force-my-laptop-to-use-the-discrete-gpu)

Let us know if it fixes your issue :)

Thx

Hi,

I'm Alex, one of the developers of Substance Painter.

Can you please send us the Substance Painter log file generated from a Beta 10 version on an OSX Maverick?

The log file is located here: ~/Library/Application Support/Allegorithmic/Substance Painter/log.txt

Thx!

Hi,

We encountered an issue yesterday during the upload of the BatchTools packages. It should be fixed now. Can you try to download them again ?
