Substance - News & Announcements - Re: Substance Subscription Changes: details & FAQ

Hi all,

We announced 1 year ago that there are 2 ways to get our products:
- "Substance" is a subscription to an ecosystem with Painter, Designer, Alchemist and Source. This offer is available on substance3d.com. We warned users that, following this plan, maintenances for perpetuals wouldn't be sold anymore on Substance3d.com 1 year later, in October 20.
- Perpetual licenses for Designer and Painter on Steam

Those changes happened 1 year ago. We sent yesterday an email to remind people having perpetuals that maintenance would stop to be sold on Substance3d.com in October.
If those users wish to keep having updates they can either subscribe to Substance, or purchase perpetuals on Steam.

The Steam links works in the way Steam -> website, it does NOT update Steam licenses.
If you have any issue with your Substance licenses, please contact us at contact@substance3d.com.

This is not possible, at least not yet, to export parametric materials from Substance Alchemist.

If you purchased licenses, then go to My Account and Downloads. You will them here.

Upgrade is if you have eligible licenses to upgrade.

If there is a blank page it’s because you don’t have any license eligible for upgrade.
You can send an email to contact@substance3d.com if you have any questions about your licenses.

Substance Painter - Technical Support - Re: How can we activate Substance at a location with no internet?

You would need to download the license files on your Substance account, and chose “activate with a license file”.

I would suggest to purchase a yearly subscription, otherwise he would need to download the files every month.

You would need to download the free materials on Substance Source. Just click on the Free category in the left bar.
