I have just started with Alchemist and...

I'm using the cremic tiles material from substance source, but when I output (export) the textures there's isnt
AO output.  How do you add this? many thanks.

I've been looking into MergeTextureSetList and found a tool that works with the Substance.player I have
downloaded latest version. I have imported correct textures into slots as shown, but when I export out it goes
wrong. Can anybody help? Is this bug? Thank you all.

Thanks. I know that SP allows you to pack channels, but if you only had some textures such as Basecolor,Roughness,Metallic,AO how do set this up in SP? If I create a new UNREAL project you always need
to import fbx. Do you need to import a plane or so? Basicly I just want to import the textures and then combine the channels
using the configuration. Is this possible?

Substance Painter allows you to pack channels at export time using a custom export configuration preset.


I have short question. I have IndieLicence of SP. But this doesn't include SubstanceSource. Can I subscribe to the
Montly plan that includes  SD,SubstanceSource+more and also cancel it at anytime, if needed? Hope to hear from you all.

could do this with SP. Sofar I haven't found any info on this.

Thanks for the info. Is'n't this only when you have mesh loaded with painting on it. In my case I only have some textures which I want to merge together. The export thing you mentioned I already knew this :-) If you have a solution how to setup things I would certainly like to hear from you. Thanks.


Hi have short question I'm new to SP.

i want to do the following. I have some materials from substance source. I then used Substance player for exporting
out the textures (works great), but now I would like to pack some textures. Can this be done SP? if so how? Sofar I can only do it with substance designer importing the texures and using rgb merge node. Thank you in advanced.

Hello, for my HP_mesh I'm using fbx. exported out of zbrush using there fbx plugin. I have no problems when using a mesh that's uder the 2 million poly, but as soon 3-4 or 5 then I get the error as mentiond. Unless there's something broken in the zbrush mesh that's causing it. But then again it work with 1-2 million. Look forward for a solution.

Hi All,

I have my fbx exported out of zbrush its has 3 subtools and I'm using polygroups
for baking my ID map. The problem is when I have a HP_mesh that has more then 2 million polys

then I get the same error as this post..

If my HP mesh under the 2million then it will bake fine. What could be causing this?
