I am looking to create a Red Jasper rock Material. Making the individual pieces and combining them is not an issue. But I need to create an appearance of a cohesive translucent coat. Like the rock has been covered in the thinnest layer. Is this possible. Would I need to use Designer to get this effect.

A new range of Live Link plug-ins have been coming out, utilizing python instead of Javascript. Will this include unreal? I am asking as their are some limitations to the older Unreal Live link that have yet to be resolved (i.e. single material only for meshes).
