I, for one, welcome our new corporate overlords.
I'm already a CC subscriber, and look forward to Substance integration. Stuff I'm looking forward to:

• Bitmap2Material built in natively as a Photoshop filter? Heck yeah.
• Native DDS support in Adobe software
• Better SVG support in Substance
• Substances viewable in Bridge

...and probably more crap relating to inter-operability between different software.
Honestly, for the corporate market, this is a good thing - and for an individual, Adobe CC is still cheaper /month than your average cell phone bill (at least in the US).

As a CC All Apps subscriber and a Substance Subscriber, I, for one, welcome our new robot overlords.

Honestly, I stopped being all that concerned with CC's prices when I realised my cell phone bill at the time was more expensive.

Substance Designer - Technical Support - Image import changes missing from changelog

Something I noticed not in the change log:

• Imported images will be converted to .PNG. Not a big deal, I just need to remember when using B2M or Photoshop to export to PNG to save time.
• 16-bit .dds files can no longer be imported or linked. Didn't test with 8-bit. It's one of those things that probably wasn't technically supported before but somehow work. I don't actually consider this a bug because 16-bit .dds file import is both egregious and bad workflow (I had some old textures from when I was learning this program and made some dumb decisions)
