I am give up. I just spilt them up into lots of textures and use unreal engine material blueprints instead.
Not good results.

I was try to animation via substance instance within cinematic but nothing happen.
I've try both Async and sync rendering. in manually it working via substance instance itself but not working automatic via animation triggers or timeline frames.

Do anyone know how control Graph Instance in cinematic?

I had been with Substance designer since first version, I am not heavy user. Only use it when I need, now my SD5 beg me to upgrade to subscription version instead of perpetual to keeping up to date.

I want to made my own smart material for Substance Painter 2 but unsure if Substance Designer 5 support that? and is feature tutorial useable with SD5?
I'll need to know this before I start.


When do the right time to upgrade to match with my needs?

Hello, I just found my mistake while heavy work on my model.. just fix the mistake but how can I update mesh to my painter file?

Yeah that would work too.

About extra output in substance graph.
You can create single material with extra diffuse output.
Use same texture but before add dirt, split them up and add dirt on each before output.

On unreal you can select which output you need.

As single material in unity = effect to all model.

Cloned material in unity = effect on model link to material only.

Same story to substance. If you want to put differs value per model.. Clone substances.

Hold on.. Try add more output. Might working.

Really? I didn't know that part. How can I use 2nd set for lightmap?

Wow that was neat! Lucky you, I have trouble with uv map for lightmap. Bah need level up my uv unwrap skill..
