Another "fix" is to add a new layer, set the Blend mode to "Passthrough" and use the "Smudge" tool.
Using that gently can help smooth out some of the seams, making then pretty much invisible.

I'm confused now.

If your high-poly mesh has bumps and valleys, your low-poly will not match those details exactly.  You can match the high-poly "closely," but it will naturally smooth out bumps and wrinkles in a cloth or haz-mat suit.

Can you clarify more what you mean, please?

Would the low-poly model Sabbir made work well as a "cage mesh?"  He's still need a different low-poly model though, right?

Based on Froyok's reply, I recommend:
a) Wait for some reliable benchmarks to be released
b) Simply treat the 2080/2080Ti like a normal "new card" that is probably 15-20% faster than the one it replaces
c) If you are not in a position to benefit from RTX right now, the assumption is that the cost is not worth it if you already have a GTX 1080 or 1080Ti.

Too bad the RTX 2080 doesn't have at least 12GB on the 2080 and 16GB on the 2080Ti.  People doing heavy animation work might buy the card for the extra VRAM.

The shadows look great.  I like the metal plate that the elephant is standing on.
I know you're experimenting with materials, but I'll still pick the wooden elephant over the others.   ;)

a) Triple-check the spelling  (I don't have the notes at my fingertips.)
I always recommend using copy/paste from the documentation page.

b) Verify you do not have a space at the end of the TDR words.
In the Registry, TdrDelay is not the same as TdrDelay+space.

a) Try a different browser.  I have better luck using drag-and-drop with Chrome on this forum.

b) You can also attach a picture as a file.  See the "attach" notes in my signature.

I wish I knew more about it so I could be more helpful.

I know nothing about Modo, and I've only done Color ID maps from Blender a couple of times.  The first time, I erroneously concluded that I had to use .fbx rather than .obj files, but that's because I missed an option in Painter.  (Personally, I'd use .fbx files when importing Color ID maps, but that's mostly because of inexperience on my part.)

Hopefully someone else will chime in.

That'll be cool if a more elegant solution exists in the future.

Did you create the color map inside Modo?  That's where it needs to be done.

If you want it "per UV island," then it's not hard to make a make in Painter.  Use the "polygon section tool" and you can select by island, which is pretty quick and easy.  It depends, though, on how you plan to use the color ID map.  I suspect you'll want to get a "real" color ID map working correctly for you.

Oh!  I had better luck with .fbx files when making color ID maps.  I believe there's a way to do it via .obj, but you might want to try a .fbx format if that's an option (especially if you did already make the color ID map assignments inside Modo).

Texture the components, and assemble them in another application for full-scene rendering.

Lots of fancy filigree.

Constructive feedback:  I'd like to see some more "life" added to the leather straps wrapped around the handle.  Some wear and tear, and some "rubbing" on areas from an oily and dirty hand gripping it, and a bit of grime.

It was fun to look at.  Thanks for sharing.  :)

My first thought is...  Graphics card driver issue.
