@drichardson - Yeah was impressed how fast Houdini supported 4.22....

Substance is the last plugin needed to migrate project....  any idea of eta?

Substance Integrations - UE4 - LiveLink Export Settings

Is it possible to modify the export settings of LiveLink?

My material has an opacity mask - I have manually added it to the UE4 Packed export settings and manual export works great:-)

Any chance I can get LiveLink to work with a masked material?

Really appreciate your efforts to upgrade plugin to 4.20.

Out of 8 plugins for my current project, only Substance hasnt been upgraded to 4.20...
Been waiting to use some of the new features since the preview came out last month

Does anybody utilize the Substance Source Plugin to download and use unpacked substances in UE?

It seems like using a packed format for materials is pretty much a defacto standard for the majority of game dev to save video memory?

So it pretty much makes the plugin useless if I have to open the substance in Designer to export as a packed format...

Idea:  Is it possible to create a Packer Substance in Designer that takes the input and outputs them converted.  Could I use that substance and at least do the conversion in UE?

Just want to request that the substances downloaded from Substance Source directly into UE via the plugin come in packed format. 

Having all the outputs separate limits their usefulness in real life scenarios....

Confused about LiveLink - if I have an existing Painter project setup with HiPoly mesh and baked textures...  how do I use LiveLink?

Is it only one way from UE4 to Painter? 

When I tried sending the same model into an existing project in painter, it simply replaces everything.

Would it be possible to send from Painter to UE?  Or at least send from UE and have it wire into the currently open project?

I am experiencing this as well - all normal maps look wrong in thumbnail (missing blue channel) ....  but they look right on the material.

Just bumping to hope it gets fixed in future...

Thanks Gaetan - That would be awesome.  Now that the UE4 Substance plugin enables easy direct download from substance source on the toolbar - the fact I have to go manually create a packed texture is sooo cumbersome.

Just a checkbox to select a packed Metal/Rough/AO output directly.

Works great - installed it, logged in, downloaded some of my substances.

One Feature Request that would be really really helpful...  can you add an additional Packed Output channel with Metal,Rough, AO Packed together?

Now I can get the material created so fast... but then need to jump outside to try and create a packed texture.

I am using vertex paint blended materials with several layers....  and can only have 16 textures bound.  Sounds like alot, but every layer has Metal, Rough, and AO burning 3 binds.
