As stated, a small update.

Another update. Although I am thinking about changing color scheme:

Just went into another direction:

Done some edits to the car. Still highly experimental.

Updated the colors and some bits and bolts to design. Totally removed wood, it just didn't work. And I think these will be my final entry. Good luck to everyone!

Hey all. Another contest! Yes! My idea for these contest is to capture the luxurious look of varnished wood that you can find on yachts, sometimes as airbrush design of motorcycle tanks. And ofc some crazy looking art cars. Actually one of the pinterest ideas was what brought my attention. Sooo... Here is the first wip:

And it's going to change a lot. What am I planning to do next is that I will:
- incorporate gold/rosegold details
- make separation of wood layers with some intrensic patterns
- add airbrush inside mechanisam clock pattern
- add floral/animal patterns (must make them work with clockwork details)
- avoid making it look tacky at all costs.

Hi! I was wondering is there a way to show only uv tiles per material in 2D view of substance designer?
I have a model with 4 different materials and can't see what is happening around uv tiles while working since all of them are overlaid one on top of the other.

Search for Daniel Thiger and Joshua lynch substance. Those two have some neat tutorials.

Use circular splatter and subtract it.

Even tho these results are correct can they be used as displacement map? I was not successful in using it as displacement.

Everything is done in painter? Nicely done anyway!

You need to have flood fill node and than any flood to something nodes:

There is a lot of artists who would love to see eevee plugin from Allegorithmic. Including me. But I think blenders GPL licensing prevents closed source integration and I don't think Allegorithmic would give source code for substance player.

Oh I would love to see denoiser in substance package. Also RTX support  ;D But for start shadows in substance designer and movable lights maybe?
