Substance PainterSubstance Painter - Discussions - Slow startup

Hi

I am trying to figure out why my substance painter takes almost 2 mins to load when I am using a plugin (substance live link). Without the plugin its takes 15 seconds to load. I am using the same plugin on my laptop without issues, so I think there is something in my main pc thats causing the problem, I have gone through the list of conflicting software and tried all the suggestions there.  If anyone has Ideas how I can track this down that would be great. I have attached the log which I am hoping might shed some light. I have also tried reinstalling all my allegorithmic software.

Hi Guys

I am trying to create a Redshift Material in 3ds max 2019 using the latest integration plugin and I am getting this script error. I saw a post from a while back saying this would be fixed but still dosent seem to work.

I have been experimenting with this Matfx oil shader and  I seem to be getting different results with different output resolutions. I am using the input type diffuse rather than an image.

Hi

I am having an issue when rendering its only using the CPU and not the GPUs. I have 2 GPUs and I have tried setting the texture to 512 from 1024 makes no difference. also checked my setting in preferences to use GPU only.

Substance PainterSubstance Painter - Technical Support - painting on high poly

Hi

I am trying to paint a model out of zbrush thats 2.5 million polys and only one texture set. Its unworkable at the moment everytime I put down a stroke the its takes a good 5-6 seconds for the stroke to appear. This is the first time I am painting a high res mesh in substance is there a upper limit poly count. I have attached my log just in case its useful.

Substance PainterSubstance Painter - Discussions - Copy channels

Hi

I have a mesh with multiple texture sets. When I export the textures I get a warning that certain channels are missing eg base color or metallic. So  I can add these channels to the texture set settings, but I have to do this to each texture set. Is there a way to copy the channels over to all the texture sets.

It would be good if when you picked a export setting it automatically added the necessary channels. I am exporting for redshift at the moment.

Substance Integrations - Autodesk 3ds Max - Bath Import

Hi

Before in the substance plugin for 3ds max you could point it to a folder where you exported your substance painter maps and then it would make the connections for you. That feature seems to be gone now in batch import it only accepts sbsar files?

Substance PainterSubstance Painter - Discussions - Looking for Fibres

Hey

I am playing around with smart materials and learning how they are built. I came across this texture in the wood chest stylized smart material. Called wood fibres but i cant seem to find that in the library. I was trying to use it to create another material. I thought all the smart materials were made from things that are in the shelf.

Does anyone know of a script to automatically import the maps from substance into a redshift material? The substance plugin for max dosent have this at the moment,

Hi

I was wondering how the substance integration for redshift in 3ds max was going? Just wanted to get and idea of when we could expect something. I am talking about using the sbsars in 3ds max not about the exporting from painter.

SubstanceSubstance - Purchases & Licenses - Reset licenses /signout

Hi

I had to do a job out of my studio and I signed in to use substance painter on another machine . Is there a way I can sign out from that machine without physically being there. I had a quick look while I was there but couldn't find the signed out button in the program.
