Author Topic: Painting across multiple faces?  (Read 1004 times)

I looked at Substance Painter during the v1 beta. It looked pretty good, but had one limitation that was a deal-breaker for me. I need to be able to paint across multiple faces (materials, surfaces, you get the idea) of a model in one operation. When I looked at it, you had to paint each face separately.

I want to be able to have a 3D model of, say, a uniform with top and bottom as separate faces. When I looked at it, the top and the bottom were shown separately, making it impossible to paint on both at the same time.

I've been watching the feature lists for every release since then. This was promised way back when, but I've never seen it. Did it get snuck in and I didn't notice?

Hey jaymaynard,

when you are talking about texture Sets: No, you can't paint multiple texture sets for now.
