A little annoyed that iRay isn't even selectable despite having latest CUDA drivers installed. Which still crash designer so I wasn't expecting too much but at least to try it out.
Latest OS X latest drivers latest version of Painter

Don't forget your
log file
. It can be exported from the
Help
menu of the software.

I mean it is greyed out and only the CPU is showing in the preferences no option for the GPU which is odd as it is fine with crashes under Designer.

Hey Mark,
the IRay settings can not be accessed without activating IRay, actually. You can activate it by pressing F4 or choose it with the 'Viewport switch' button.
Best Regards
