Author Topic: Deduce vertex color information by material of object parts  (Read 966 times)

Using Blender, when a mesh is made of separate sub objects, each one being assigned a material with simple diffuse material and specific color, when exporting as .obj, Blender creates an.obj file with mesh information and an .mlt file with material information as assigned to each object part. From this, you could deduce the vertex color used by each object part, without the need for us to vertex paint each object. This would ease the generation of vertex color maps.
