Author Topic: "Save As" and resource folder cleanup  (Read 2192 times)

Hi All,

I'm guessing the answer to these questions is no, but just in case...

Is there a "save as" feature hidden somewhere in Substance Designer.  Something that will allow me to start a new substance based on an existing substance.

Is there a feature that will cleanup a substance's resource directory. (The one on disk.)  I've noticed that there are un-used files cluttering up the directory.  For example: "1-1-dk3824-Balbo_Upper_Mask.png" and "1-dk3824-Balbo_Upper_Mask.png".  Only the first file is actually in use.

I've figured out how to do the cleanup manually.  So if the answer to that one is "no", then I'll post the method here.

OK.  I found the answer to one of the questions.

Save As: In explorer, under User's Packages:  Click the package (sbs), then right click.  It will be in the context menu.
