It would be incredibly useful to be able to smooth mesh (juste as a turbosmooth in 3dsMax does) directly in Painter without smoothing the UV.
It would allow us to work on low poly models with greater precision.
Right now, if we want to paint on a subdivided mesh, we need to apply a smooth directly on the mesh before exporting the FBX, which smooth the UV too: as a result, high poly and low poly mesh can't use the same maps, because the UV we paint on are already smoothed, causing tearing (here on the horizontal lines on this Vray Render):
