Author Topic: Is there any way to drive float value with a b/w map  (Read 648 times)

For example I want to control the splatter node grid size amount by a noise node.  Like using a noise like perlin noise node to be a density map.  Is it possible and How can I do it?

You can't do that on the splatter node, but you could use the "Tile Sampler" node.
Plug the Perlin noise to the "mask amp" input, then adjust the "mask map threshold" parameter at the bottom.

It does not really control the density, but the visibility.
I guess I could add a probability test instead of the 0/1.

Yeh actually if its possible to control density would be so much useful.
