The password reset email link doesn't seem to work in Chrome. It sends you to the normal password change page, not the special reset page. It does work in Internet Explorer.

But I can't change my account settings in either browser. It just says my password is incorrect every time. I can copy/paste the same one I login with so I know it's correct.

You are not the only one, I have the exact same problem, already tried to reset my password but the problem persist. I can't change anything on the account settings page because it always tells me that the password is wrong.

Hi,

I just tried in Chrome, it works fine for me.
Did you try to copy-paste the link directly?

Which version of Chrome are you using?

Actually, you should try to reset your password from the website, not from the forum.

Hi,

I have the same problem with the following error when I enter my current password and click the "Change Profile" button.

The following errors occurred when trying to save your profile:
The password you entered was not correct.

I am on OSX Mountain Lion and have tried Firefox (25.0.1), Chrome (31.0.1650.57) and Safari (6.1 (8537.71)), they all give the same error.

Thanks,

AB.

The problem persists, I am also on Firefox 25.01 here.

Would be nice to know you are working on it.

Maybe your admin rights prevent you from seeing the bug?

bump

I am normaly not the person to constantly bug someone with a problem but is has been over a week now and I would really like to change my displayed username, which I was as far as I remember no able to chose in the first place. I also found no place to change it on the main site while the forum "account settings" page still does not accept my password and I am 100% sure I used the right one.

I can imagine you have cooler stuff to do with the upcoming Substance Painter but something like "yes we are aware of the problem and we try to solve it" would be very nice.

Hi,

Did you try to change your password on the Allegorithmic website (http:///www.allegorithmic.com, then My Account), and not on the forum?
If changing it on the website doesn't work please ping me by PM and I'll change it by myself.

Nicolas,

Maybe it is just me but what if I want to just disable the "Allow users to email me" option in my forum profile?

I deselect the option, enter my current password and still receive the warning about the password being incorrect, I have also reset the password from the main site at least a couple of times and still no joy.

I only created an account because I bought Bitmap2Material on steam and each time I load it on OSX it immediately crashes. I created a forum post on your steam forum (29th November) and also here on your main forum site (3rd December) and had not one response from anyone at Allegorithmic which isn't very good.

If you are interested in helping resolve the crash the posts are here, if not I might try The Foundry forum as I know one of your staff frequents there:

Hi,

We are aware of this problem and working on it. It's a side effect on our new website we launched 2 weeks ago.

If you want to be 100% sure to get an answer on your posts, you should contact us via the contact form (http://www.allegorithmic.com/contact) or by logging a bug (click on the report a bug button).

I will anyway check the links you posted.

Hi,

I just answered you on Steam.
You should try to delete some of the shaders (I gave the link on your Steam forum).
Let me know if that helps.

Hi Nicolas,

Thanks for getting back to me.

I did report a bug using the link on the right of the forum but didn't contact you directly as you suggested.

I tried removing the shaders but still have the same problem, I also replied on the steam forum if you want to move this conversation there so as not to take this thread off topic that is fine.

Thanks,

AB.

Hi,

Just to let you know the problems are now fixed.
You should change your password on the main website, but you can change all the other options (display name, etc.) on the forum.
