Author Topic: [SOLVED]Normals not showing up in 3D View  (Read 2175 times)

Hi all,

I'm new to SD and working through some tutorials. I've run into a problem with normal maps not showing up in the 3D View. Diffuse textures show up fine, but normals won't show up no matter what I do.

I've attached a couple screengrabs. It's just a new graph with a very simple material. The problem shows up whether I use a pre-generated normal map or a normal map generated by SD from a grayscale.

Any idea on why I'm running into this issue would be greatly appreciated!

I figured it out. My material shader was set to lambert. I just switched it to blinn and that solved the issue.
