Author Topic: 4.x export to .png - Unity  (Read 1304 times)

I'm not sure if it's an issue with designer or player, but substances I create in 4.x, when exported from the player as png files, are not readable in Unity. But I can see them in windows explorer ans open them in photoshop. Even if I save them in photoshop, they still will not work in unity. Again, not sure if this belongs in the designer, player or unity forums. Thanks.

Indeed I tried and it doesn't work...
I think it may come from some metadata embedded in the png.
This should work if you save it in TGA in Photoshop, then again in png.

Yea, I've come at it from every angle, that was the case! Should I submit a bug report also? It's disrupted my workflow considerably. Went back to SD3.7. Thank you for looking into it.

I already logged a bug.

It's working fine with SD 3.7? If yes, then it will help us to narrow the problem.

Looks like i'm actually on 3.6. I like the new site, but how do I get to 'My Files' i'll test 3.7 if I can find where to download it. Thanks.

When you log on your account, there is a Download button next to your licenses. 3.7 should be inside the Substance Designer 3 download.
