Author Topic: A "CREVICE" tool  (Read 994 times)

Sculptris is very limited and still unstable, but one brush that is really handy is the "crevice" tool -- it lets you apply a brush to a large area and have the paint only go in the cracks.  It have the option of ignoring the cracks and only effecting the higher parts of the mesh.

Why would this be useful?

Those of us using DAZ models don't always have access to ID files.

I will +1 that curvature masking for brushes, like 3D coat is doing it, or ZBrush etc, would be really handy :)
It is doable atm by doing the procedural masks, and then paint those out, but it is more of a workaround, and a proper curvature\ao masking on the brush would be really really nice.
