Author Topic: Using multiple hi-res meshes to bake a normal map  (Read 1754 times)

Hey All,
I have a model broken down into several hi-res meshes and want to bake them to my lo-res (much like you can in xNormal). I tried to look for ways to do this in the forum and online, but couldn't find a solid answer. Is there a way to do this in Substance? Thanks

I think you can only bake one HP object per LP object in SD. So you will have to either combine all your HP meshes into a single object file or separate your LP  mesh into separate objects that correspond correctly to the HP meshes.

Indeed, no support for multiple high poly meshes for now. Although that is something we may add later on.
