4.7 To 4.8

Hey everyone,

How exactly do i upgrade from 4.7 to 4.8? I have a lot of data in my 4.7 and the plugin size is about 150mb and the new one is way less(I assume this is due to the plugin storing data?).

If this isn't the case and it's just a lot smaller now that's good. But if it's not, how do i upgrade to 4.8? And with the plugin now i'm even more confused. I cannot loose all the data.

I can just replace the old plugin and it will update automatically.
I don't know about a 'official' way, unfortunately.

Hi Celeste,

You just need to replace the plugins folder with the latest version of the substance plugin. Please make a back up of your project just in case, but just replacing the plugins folder will do the job.
