Hi. Is it possible to create a car paint material using default PBR metallic roughness workflow? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks


That's not really possible. Usually car paint materials involve two layers : the base paint and the coating/finish on top.
A regular pbr shader isn't able to simulate the two layers. That's why you have a pbr-coated and pbr-car-paint shader provided in Substance Painter. You will need similar shaders in your target software (like Unreal and Unity).
Don't forget your log file. It can be exported from the Help menu of the software.
