Author Topic: reducing texture  (Read 2025 times)

Could you guys please let me know what is the easiest (and cheapest) way to reduce a texture's size?
If I use the transform2d node, I get either a pixelated version or a blurred one, as the texture is mipmaped.
I can use a tiled generator, and only tweak the 1st two parameters, but it seams a bit over the top considering the task I'm after.


In the transform2D node, you can control the mipmapping (in "manual" mode, you can choose which mipmap level is read) and filtering used (bilinear or nearest). Or did I misunderstand the question ?
